One of the biggest sales of the year is starting in just 3 days! This is a huge and very popular sale for a couple of reasons. Nordstrom gets in their new fall merchandise and sells it at a discounted price for a short time period. This isn't like other sales where it is stuff the company is trying to get rid of, but more like a preview of what is to come for fall as well as giving huge discounts to stock up! The quality of the products are probably why the sale is popular, it is brand new items for incredible prices! Last year was the first time I really shopped the sale and I sure felt like I wasn't ready. A lot of the items become sold out very quickly so this year I know it is good to have a game plan. Plus, Nordstrom always does free shipping and free returns so if things don't work out then they can just be sent back. I have put together 5 things you need to know about the #NSale below so you can be as prepared as I am!
1. WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the store's biggest sale of the year. The sale allows Nordstrom customers to shop new arrivals for the Fall and Winter that are this years newest and hottest items at a discounted price before these items are available to the public. Well online shopping the sale items online will have the discounted price showing plus the original full price that it will be when the sale is over so you can see how much you actually are saving.
2. WHEN DOES IT START?: The sale is open to all Nordstrom customers from July 22 - August 7, 2016. But Early Access for cardholders is from July 14 - July 21st. If you are a cardholder that means you will have access to the sale first on July 14th. But if you are not a cardholder, you can shop the sale on July 22nd. The nice thing about being a cardholder is you have first access to the items before they become sold out in that size or color. Either way, the prices will go up for everyone on August 8th.
3. HOW TO RECEIVE EARLY ACCESS: To receive early access to the sale is to become a card holder. It is free and easy, plus there are some different options. There are both the credit and debit options available. Having that card gets you into the sale before the pubic can. This is a great way to snag all the great Fall and Winter items at a discounted price before they sell out. You can apply for a Nordstrom credit or debit card here. I know some people aren't interested in getting a credit card, but Nordstrom does offer a debit card option that as the same benefits as the Nordstrom retail card. With either card you are still granted early access to the sale on July 14th. It is free to sign up and with the debit card your purchases are drawn directly from your personal bank account. Other than early access to the sale there are some other perks to having the card, it will automatically allows you to be a member of the Nordstrom rewards program which means when you make a purchase you will earn points that turn into gift cards to spend at Nordstrom.
4. WHAT KIND OF DEALS ARE THERE?: You can save 25%, 30% or sometimes even more on brand new fall and winter items. The new arrivals include shoes, women's clothing, men's clothing, accessories and even home decor. This is the time to get your Fall and Winter essentials including outerwear and a new pair of riding boots. Even designer items are included in the sale so this is a great time to get the best deals.
5. WHAT BRANDS CAN I EXPECT TO SEE DISCOUNTED?: Basically all the brands Nordstrom has to offer including: BP., Vince Camuto, Steve Madden, Rebecca Minkoff, Joe's Jeans, Madewell, Hunter, Current/Elliott, Vince, Tory Burch, Ugg, Hinge, Halogen, Sam Edelman, Topshop, Converse, Kendra Scott and many more, they have something for everyone.
