Transition Into Fall

I am so excited for the cooler temps and the leaves on the trees changing color. This outfit features a few of my favorite NSale buys. These turtleneck/cowl neck sweaters are the perfect transitional piece as well as layering piece for Fall and Winter. 

Last night I did a little shopping (I really need to not) at the mall and a local consignment shop. I bought a few new Fall pieces from Forever 21 which I am excited to share with you in the coming weeks. I also picked up some new workout gear for when I begin doing my workouts again starting next week. I think I will start up BBG from the beginning and the end of the month, but I think I will start at the gym first and see how that goes. I really need to start to prep meals ahead of time so I don't eat out or eat poorly like I do right now. Lastly, I have been getting back into reading, instead of being on Instagram in the evenings I am trading that in for a good book. Any recommendations? Next week the Fall semester of school will start for me. I have been outfit planning lately trying to create some traditional outfits from the last days of Summer into the first days of Fall. This tunic is the perfect thing to wear for school, you'll stand out well looking cute. I love the length and it will be perfect for those days when all you want to wear is leggings. 

This past weekend was a lot of fun, I went up north again to visit my friend Kirsten. She is the one I visited in Connecticut and New York this past Summer. We did some shopping (I scored a Rebecca Minkoff mini M.A.C bag for $10!), ate a ton of ice cream and explored Frankenmuth. I had never been, but it was such a cute little town. I got some cupcakes for Sugarhigh, they won season 7 of Cupcake Wars and I must say my Oreo cupcake was delicious! It was a super busy weekend, but I am glad I got to see Kirsten before she headed back to NYC.

I just really love the fit of this dress, it would be flattering on most body types. In yesterday's post I mentioned how I was going to Ulta and Nordstrom Rack after work to do some shopping? Well 30min after work I went to babysit the rest of the night so that never happened. I plan on going tonight, but honestly who knows at this point.

This week I decided to style this dress two ways. Pictured above is the perfect way to wear it to school or even work. I think I may wear this look when I start school in September depending on how the weather is. Later this week I will style this dress for more of a date night or getting for a fancy occasion so check back for how I styled it two ways later this week.

This past weekend was so much fun! I went up to north about an hour from where I live to visit my good friend Sanna at school, it was such a blast and I am so glad we got to catch up. So after that sleepover I needed a rest day, so yesterday I just bummed around the house and cleaned. Today I am headed to Ulta and Nordstrom Rack after work to make some #NSale returns and pick up some new beauty products Sanna showed me. I never got around to making a haul video of my recent buys, but I still am planning on do that sometime this week!

I am so ready for the weekend in this cute stripe top! I has been a busy week so now it is time for a break! After work tomorrow I am headed back up north to catch up with my good friend Sanna! It is crazy that we haven't seen each other since January, so this is a much needed sleepover! I plan on wearing these boyfriend jeans I picked up from the #NSale, they seriously are so comfortable and I love the distressed look with the patches underneath! 

The movie The Secret Life of Pets that I went to yesterday was super cute, I highly recommend it. Not as awesome as Zootopia, but it was up there. No big plans for tonight, but I may try to work on that haul video I mentioned! Today is also the last day for the Tory Burch Private Sale so make your final purchases by the end of the day!
