When in doubt, pile on the layers! I love the way the denim shirt looks layered with the army jacket! I've had this jacket for years making it look like a fun vintage piece, due to me washing it and having the color fade. I love when you can make something your own! 

Red Pants

As you can probably tell, the turtleneck trend has grown on me. I can't help it, they are just so cozy and warm, plus they are skin tight so they are perfect for layering, which I love! Todays the first time wearing my new booties, and I cannot get enough, they are fab!

I'm honestly so obsessed with this sweater with the cute little fox and the hint of pink! It's great to layer and style with other pink pieces. I bought it last fall at Old Navy and was so excited to find the last one on clearance! Such a great find for a great price!

Another snowy day, the only way I can keep warm is with layers! I'm wearing a 3 quarter length shirt with a cardigan over, and a vest on top! I absolutely love this camo vest from J.Crew. I ordered it a while ago but got such a great deal, only $31 at my Factory store! It was a hard deal not to take, so I didn't fight myself and just caved, I've gotten such great wear out of it. If your not sure to buy one, since camo is kind of hard to pair, I say go for it! You'll be surprised how much actually matches! 

Faux Fur

This outfit was a little out of my normal "preppy" style. The faux fur vest really makes a huge statement, it really glams up any outfit! Even though this outfit is very put together for a day of shopping or a night out, it still is very cozy and comfortable to lounge around in. 

As you already know if you follow my Instagram (@Monobelleprep) I love vest! Especially the excursion vest from Jcrew! So when ever I have a chance to add a vest to an outfit I'll take it. Try a faux fur vest for yourself and feel fabulous for a day!
